How to Print Your Qatar Visa Online
Your visa got approved β the hard part is over. But before you start packing, there's one small job left: you need a printed copy of the visa document. Airlines ask for it at check-in, and immigration officers in Doha will want to see it too. The good news? You can download it as a PDF from the official MOI portal and print it anywhere β home, office, or the nearest print shop.
ποΈ Print from the official portal only
Before you print: is your visa ready?
Check your status first (see our passport-number check guide). Print only when the status shows APPROVED or READY TO PRINT. If it still says UNDER PROCESS, there is nothing to print yet.
β οΈ "Ready to Print" β "Valid to Use"
Ready to Print means approved but with a remaining step (usually fee payment). Valid to Use means the visa is fully ready for travel. Confirm which one you see before booking flights β full details in our status meanings guide.
Step-by-step: download and print
- Go to portal.moi.gov.qa β Inquiries β Visa Services β Visa Inquiry and Printing.
- Search for your visa using your passport number (or the 15-digit visa number) plus your nationality, and complete the CAPTCHA.
- When your visa details appear, click Print Visa (or the print icon).
- The visa opens as a PDF in a new tab. Click the download icon or choose Save As to save it to your device.
- Print it on any printer β a clear color printout on A4 paper is ideal.
What to check on the printout
- Your name matches your passport exactly
- Passport number is correct
- Visa type (tourist, work, family visitβ¦) is what you applied for
- Validity dates β the visa must be valid for your travel dates
- The printout is sharp and readable β blurry copies can cause problems at check-in
If anything is wrong, do not travel on that document β ask your sponsor to have it corrected through the MOI first.
Where can you print it?
π At home or office
Any home or office printer works. Save the PDF on your phone too, as a backup.
π¨οΈ Print shops
Any cyber cafΓ© or print shop can print a PDF from a USB stick, email, or WhatsApp in a few minutes, usually for a small fee.
βοΈ At the airport
Many international airports have printing kiosks or business centers β but don't rely on this; print before you leave for the airport.
π± Keep a digital copy
Keep the PDF on your phone and in cloud storage (email it to yourself). Some airlines accept a clear digital copy, but a paper printout is always safer.
π‘ Tip
Print two copies and keep them in different bags. If one gets lost or damaged in transit, you have a spare.
